The Sharjah Formula Team, representing the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, has demonstrated exceptional competitive prowess at the Shanghai Grand Prix, one of the most prestigious rounds in the World Powerboat Championship. The Emirati outfit’s dual podium finish underscores its credentials as a formidable force in international motorsport.
Stefan Arand delivered a masterclass in precision driving to claim the runner-up position, whilst his teammate Grant Trask completed an impressive team performance with a third-place finish. These results reflect the calibre of preparation and technical excellence that characterise the Sharjah operation.
The performances in Shanghai have yielded tangible rewards in the championship standings. Arand now commands the individual World Championship table with an impressive tally of 60 points, whilst Trask occupies a strong second position with 51 points.
