UAE Welcomes Mozambique’s New Consul-General to Dubai

Ministry of Foreign Affairs receives consular credentials from Fernando Chomar, marking continued strengthening of bilateral relations between the UAE and Mozambique.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has formally received the consular credentials of Fernando Chomar, who assumes the role of Consul-General of the Republic of Mozambique in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
The credential presentation took place at the Ministry’s Dubai office, where Eng. Rashid Abdulla Al Qaseer, Director of the MoFA Office in Dubai, extended a warm welcome to the newly appointed Consul-General. During their meeting, Al Qaseer conveyed congratulations on Chomar’s appointment and expressed confidence in his leadership of the consular mission.
The occasion underscored the enduring partnership between the United Arab Emirates and Mozambique. Al Qaseer highlighted the robust nature of bilateral relations, noting the two nations’ shared commitment to cooperation across diverse fields of mutual benefit and interest.
