Culture Summit Abu Dhabi Returns to Explore the Reimagined Commons

The Culture Summit Abu Dhabi returns once more, presenting an exceptional opportunity to engage with the most pressing cultural conversations of our time. Taking place from 8 to 10 December, this year’s summit gathers under the compelling theme of Towards a Reimagined Commons, an invitation to reconsider and reinvigorate our shared cultural heritage and collective future.

The summit unfolds across three principal pillars that form the intellectual architecture of our contemporary moment. Collective Memories invites us to explore the narratives and experiences that bind communities together, examining how we preserve, interpret and transmit the stories that define us. Collective Space examines the physical and conceptual environments we inhabit together, from the built heritage of our cities to the public realms where culture flourishes and dialogue emerges. Collective Imagination, the third theme, celebrates our capacity to envision possibilities beyond the present, to dream shared futures and to create culture that resonates across boundaries.

This gathering of minds, practitioners and visionaries promises to illuminate the interconnectedness of culture, heritage and human experience. It stands as a beacon for those who recognise that culture is not merely a repository of the past, but a dynamic force that shapes how we understand ourselves and our place within the broader human narrative.
