Dubai Chambers Strengthens Strategic Ties with Four Leading Chinese Commerce Institutions

A series of landmark agreements between Dubai Chambers and prominent Chinese chambers of commerce promises to deepen commercial engagement and foster prosperity across the emirates and China's most dynamic business centres.

Dubai Chambers has formalised its commitment to expanding bilateral commerce through the execution of four Memorandums of Understanding with distinguished chambers of commerce representing China’s premier business hubs. These agreements, concluded during the Dubai Business Forum in Shenzhen, encompass partnerships with the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce, the China Chamber of International Commerce Shenzhen Branch, the China Chamber of International Commerce Guangzhou Chamber of Commerce, and the China Chamber of International Commerce Chongqing Chamber of Commerce.

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and Chief Executive of Dubai Chambers, together with Salem AlShamsi, Executive Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chambers, formalised the strategic accords with senior leadership representing each of the Chinese institutions. The signatories included Zhang Jianwei, Chairperson of the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce; Huang Xiaofeng, Vice President of CCOIC Guangzhou; Deng Lin, Vice Chairwoman of CCOIC Chongqing; and He Shanshan, Secretary-General of CCOIC Shenzhen.

These agreements represent a comprehensive framework for fostering direct engagement between the commercial communities of Dubai and China’s most vibrant economic centres. The arrangements establish practical mechanisms through which enterprises can identify synergies, exchange invaluable knowledge and expertise, and cultivate enduring partnerships grounded in mutual prosperity. Particular emphasis has been placed upon facilitating participation in international exhibitions, economic conferences, and commercial gatherings that amplify visibility and create tangible opportunities for growth.

The Chongqing partnership extends these objectives by creating dedicated pathways for the dissemination of information concerning trade events and investment activities, thereby enabling Dubai’s business community to remain continuously apprised of emerging prospects within one of China’s most rapidly expanding commercial hubs.

As articulated by Lootah, Dubai Chambers remains steadfastly dedicated to cultivating an ecosystem of exceptional support that empowers the emirate’s private sector to project its influence across international markets, whilst simultaneously attracting inbound investment and collaborative ventures. These agreements exemplify this commitment by establishing institutional channels through which bilateral commercial relationships can flourish and contribute meaningfully to the broader economic prosperity of both Dubai and the Chinese regions represented.

The accords reinforce Dubai Chambers’ distinguished position as a catalyst for international cooperation, reinforcing its strategic mandate to enhance the global competitiveness of the local private sector whilst advancing sustainable economic development across the emirate.
