Dubai Future Week Unveils The Challenge: A Global Convergence of AI and Robotics Innovation

The Dubai Future Foundation presents an ambitious platform that will unite over 10,000 participants and international experts in artificial intelligence, robotics and emerging technologies, culminating in prestigious competitions and a one million dirham grand prize.
The Dubai Future Foundation has unveiled an extraordinary initiative at the heart of Dubai Future Week, an imminent gathering that will transform Emirates Towers and the Museum of the Future into a magnificent hub of technological exploration and innovation. Taking place from the 18th to 21st November 2026 under the resonant theme ‘For the Human of the Future’, this prestigious event will convene more than 10,000 participants and luminaries from sectors devoted to shaping tomorrow’s possibilities.
The Challenge represents a sophisticated distillation of Dubai Future Week’s central philosophy: that technology’s true power resides not in the tools themselves, but in the visionary minds that wield them. This platform creates an immersive environment where artificial intelligence, robotics and emerging technologies become instruments for solving profound challenges, expanding human opportunity and constructing societies equipped for tomorrow’s demands. The initiative celebrates how biotechnology, advanced computing and innovation become meaningful only when channelled towards genuine human benefit.
At the forefront stands the AI Grandmaster competition, returning for its third year following remarkable global momentum. The Global Prompt Engineering Championship 2025 garnered an impressive 3,800 applications spanning 125 nations, demonstrating the extraordinary reach and magnetism of this pursuit. This year’s finalists will demonstrate their consummate expertise in generative AI applications, crafting distinctive content within rigorous temporal constraints through precisely engineered prompts. The victor will be honoured with an exceptional grand prize of AED1 million.
Complementing this celebrated competition, The Challenge will host the finals of the Emirates Robotics Competition, now in its fourth iteration. Orchestrated by Dubai Future Labs in partnership with Rochester Institute of Technology, Khalifa University of Science and Technology, Mohammed bin Rashid Library and the American University of Sharjah, this endeavour invites university teams from across the United Arab Emirates and beyond to conceive, engineer and manufacture robotic solutions addressing the distinctive challenges of the library sector.
The Challenge inhabits How We’ll Innovate, one of Dubai Future Week’s five thematic tracks, which traverses the transformative roles of robotics, algorithms and computational intelligence, extending across quantum computing, synthetic biology, materials science and space exploration. Dubai Future Week itself unfolds across eight magnificent concepts: The Big Stage, The Prototype Floor, The Pitch, The Policy Room, The Challenge, Offstage, 500 Future Minds and The District, presenting an expansive programme encompassing keynote addresses, panel discussions, workshops, exhibitions and future-focused experiences.
