Emirates Perfumes and Oud Exhibition Attracts 120,000 Visitors to Sharjah

Dual specialised showcases at Expo Centre Sharjah unite industry leaders and enthusiasts across fragrances, oud and cosmetics
The fourth edition of the Emirates Perfumes and Oud Exhibition and the second edition of the Middle East Cosmetics Show have concluded as resoundingly successful gatherings, welcoming more than 120,000 visitors throughout their ten-day tenure at Expo Centre Sharjah from 9 to 18 October. The concurrent exhibitions assembled an impressive constellation of international and regional perfume and oud enthusiasts alongside beauty aficionados and some of the industry’s most distinguished brands, fostering an environment of considerable commercial vitality and consumer engagement.
Across the fortnight, the exhibitions presented a comprehensive panorama of olfactory and cosmetic excellence, encompassing oriental perfumes of distinguished character, rare oud selections and incense, complemented by an extensive array of cosmetics and personal care formulations. The Emirates Perfumes and Oud Exhibition alone showcased the offerings of more than 200 companies representing approximately 700 brands, presenting an exceptionally diverse selection that encompassed both established favourites and carefully curated new launches, each reflecting the nuanced and evolving preferences of contemporary consumers and the delightful plurality of tastes flourishing across the marketplace.
Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, Chief Executive Officer of Expo Centre Sharjah, reflected upon the exhibitions’ significance, observing that such specialised trade shows have transcended their traditional function as mere product showcases. Rather, they have evolved into dynamic platforms wherein brands and consumers establish meaningful direct relationships and engage in substantive dialogue. In sectors intrinsically connected to personal taste and individual aspiration, these gatherings assume particular importance, affording companies opportunities to discern market inclinations with greater acuity, introduce their innovations with panache, and transmute consumer enthusiasm into tangible pathways for commercial growth and expansion.
Mr Al Midfa further emphasised Expo Centre Sharjah’s unwavering commitment to orchestrating exhibitions that function as robust engines of commercial endeavour, harmoniously blending an intellectually stimulating and pleasurable visitor experience with genuine, measurable value for exhibiting companies. The institution endeavours to cultivate an environment wherein brands flourish within their market positions and discover fresh horizons for business development. The burgeoning appetite for such specialised exhibitions underscores the imperative of perpetually advancing events that remain attuned to market developments and anticipate the sophisticated expectations of both commercial participants and the discerning visiting public alike.
