MYNT Indian Cuisine Marks Diwali with a Celebration of Authentic Flavours

The festival of Diwali calls for celebration, and MYNT Indian Cuisine responds with a thoughtfully composed menu that draws on the culinary traditions of India’s most distinguished regions. From November 6 to 9, the restaurant presents a collection of dishes crafted to mark the occasion with warmth and authenticity.
The specials traverse the subcontinent’s diverse food heritage. The Kosha Mangsho, a slow-cooked Bengali preparation, arrives as bone-in mutton bathed in a refined onion and yoghurt gravy, its richness built through patient cooking rather than heavy spicing. The Sufiyana Paneer Tikka takes a gentler approach: soft paneer marinated with labneh, cheese, cashew and fennel, then finished in the tandoor to emerge delicate and aromatic.
Tandoori preparations speak to the kitchen’s technical precision. The Murgh Tangdi Kulfi features chicken drumsticks marinated with Indian spices and cooked over open flame, finished with a creamy sauce. The Murgh Dilruba Kebab offers boneless chicken treated with yoghurt and spices, delivering the characteristic richness of Punjabi cuisine.
From India’s eastern coast, the Assam Style Fish Curry brings together fresh fish with potatoes and a measured tomato-based gravy that reflects the region’s distinctive flavour profile. The kitchen demonstrates its range equally in dessert. The Sabudana Rasmalai reimagines a festival favourite, presenting chewy sabudana dumplings with creamy rabri. The Pineapple and Strawberry Delight offers a lighter finish: fresh strawberries muddled with sour mix, chaat masala and black salt, then combined with pineapple juice.
The menu arrives at a moment when Diwali festivities illuminate homes across Abu Dhabi. Whether dining in the restaurant or choosing home delivery, guests can book their table by calling 02 6666 400, or order through the website at http://www.mynt.ae.
