ADX and Al Ramz Capital open Round 4 of Al Ramz Investment and Trading Competition

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) Group and Al Ramz Capital have launched Round 4 of the Al Ramz Investment and Trading Competition, running from 21 September to 20 October 2026, to promote practical financial literacy and longer-term investing.
Practical market learning in a live environment
The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) Group, the second-largest stock exchange in the Arab region, and Al Ramz Capital have opened Round 4 of the Al Ramz Investment and Trading Competition. The month-long contest, which runs from 21 September to 20 October 2026, provides new and experienced investors with a platform to test strategies and gain hands-on exposure to market dynamics.
Who can enter and how it works
Entry is open to all investors who hold an active Al Ramz trading account. Participants will trade in live market conditions and can monitor their progress anonymously via a dedicated online leaderboard. Performance assessment uses the Time-Weighted Return (TWR) percentage, a measure designed to evaluate investment performance independently of portfolio size and to offer a consistent basis for comparing strategies.
Prizes and incentives
The competition awards Etihad Guest Miles to the top three performers: 1,000,000 miles for first place, 500,000 miles for second and 250,000 miles for third. The rewards are intended to add tangible incentive while encouraging disciplined and informed investment approaches.
Objectives and broader context
ADX and Al Ramz Capital describe the competition as part of a wider effort to make financial education more practical and accessible. By marrying market participation with access to information and investment insights, the initiative aims to help participants build knowledge of capital markets and appreciate the factors that drive investment outcomes. The partners have emphasised the contest’s role in fostering a culture of informed, long-term investing across the UAE.
Round 4 builds on the momentum of earlier iterations, extending the organisers’ joint commitment to developing a more financially engaged investor community and supporting broader participation in the UAE’s capital markets. The format — live trading judged on TWR — is intended to reward consistent strategy and to provide entrants with real-world experience they can carry into their future investment decisions.
Participants can expect continuous leaderboard updates throughout the competition period, allowing them to follow relative performance without disclosing identities. The structure is designed to encourage experimentation with strategy while preserving fairness in evaluation.
