Emirates Named Official Airline Partner for Fifth World Police Summit in Dubai
A three-year strategic partnership will strengthen international participation in the November gathering of global police and security leaders at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Dubai is set to host the fifth edition of the World Police Summit from 16th to 18th November 2026, with Emirates now confirmed as the Official Airline Partner in a strategic three-year collaboration. The partnership underscores Dubai’s position as a premier destination for international gatherings focused on security and public safety.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, the Summit will convene police chiefs, policymakers, international organisations and security experts from across the globe. Organised by Dubai Police in partnership with DXB LIVE at Dubai World Trade Centre, the event continues to attract substantial international engagement, with 95 per cent of exhibition space already reserved and more than 150 speakers confirmed.
Through its extensive global network, Emirates will facilitate the movement of delegates whilst enhancing communications across digital platforms and providing an onsite presence throughout the Summit. The airline will utilise its inflight entertainment system to feature dedicated World Police Summit content, allowing international passengers to familiarise themselves with the event and its mission before arriving in Dubai.
H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, emphasised the significance of the partnership: “Emirates connects Dubai with cities and communities around the world, and this partnership will support the international leaders, policymakers, experts and industry partners travelling for the World Police Summit. By bringing the global security community together, the Summit is a platform to share knowledge, build partnerships and advance practical solutions to the challenges facing an increasingly connected world.”
Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, highlighted how the collaboration reinforces Dubai’s standing as a global hub for security dialogue. “Our strategic partnership with Emirates will strengthen the Summit’s international presence and broaden global participation through the national carrier’s extensive network,” he stated, noting that the initiative reflects institutional integration to advance international cooperation and law enforcement effectiveness.
The 2026 Summit, themed “Connected for Impact: Uniting Global Policing to Safeguard Future Generations”, will examine artificial intelligence in policing, cybercrime, financial fraud and organised crime, alongside critical infrastructure security across aviation, rail, road and maritime networks. An accompanying exhibition, Startup Arena and Academic Zone will showcase emerging technologies and research supporting the future of public safety.
Dubai’s credentials as a secure and welcoming destination are evident: in 2025, 99.9 per cent of residents reported feeling safe, whilst the city welcomed nearly 20 million visitors, demonstrating both its security standards and international appeal.
