Hamriyah Free Zone and Sharjah Police Forge Strategic Security Partnership
Senior officials from Hamriyah Free Zone Authority and Sharjah Police have pledged enhanced cooperation to safeguard economic establishments and reinforce the emirate's reputation as a secure investment destination.
Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) and Sharjah Police General Command have established a strengthened collaborative framework designed to elevate security and safety standards across the free zone’s economic establishments.
The strategic initiative centres on harnessing advanced smart technologies and integrated systems to refine preventive procedures, bolster organisational resilience and enhance service delivery to investors. This partnership underscores Sharjah’s commitment to maintaining its standing as a premier business and investment hub characterised by robust security protocols.
Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of HFZA, received a senior Sharjah Police delegation led by Major General Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director-General of the General Directorate of Prevention and Safety, alongside Brigadier Khalid Saeed Bo Zengal, Deputy Director-General, and accompanying officials.
During the engagement, both parties conducted a comprehensive review of HFZA’s existing security infrastructure, safety systems and operational frameworks, including mechanisms for managing and categorising economic activities. The discussions extended to streamlining investor transaction processes and examining preventive safety requirements whilst identifying exemplary practices and expertise to strengthen institutional effectiveness.
Major General Al Naour emphasised that institutional integration between government entities represents a cornerstone of developing the prevention and safety ecosystem across the emirate. He described the partnership with HFZA as exemplifying institutional coordination grounded in knowledge exchange and specialised practice sharing, underpinned by technological advancement to enhance procedural efficiency.
The Sharjah Police leadership expressed steadfast commitment to fostering a preventive and proactive operational culture through expanded coordination mechanisms and systematic information exchange with strategic partners. These measures aim to protect lives and assets whilst ensuring business continuity and fostering sustainable economic engagement.
Al Mazrouei underscored that fortifying security and safety forms a fundamental pillar for sustaining economic vitality and nurturing investor confidence.
