Abu Dhabi Chamber Recognises 35 Companies for Sustainability Excellence at LIVEX 2026
The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has honoured 35 enterprises through its prestigious Sustainability Label programme, celebrating their commitment to responsible business practices and enhanced institutional performance across diverse sectors.
The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) has distinguished 35 companies through its Sustainability Label programme, recognising their dedication to responsible business practices and strengthened institutional performance. The accolades were presented during the Chamber’s participation in the Liveability and Investment Exhibition (LIVEX 2026), a premier global platform uniting policymakers, investors, and sector leaders at the nexus of sustainable economic development.
This recognition underscores Abu Dhabi Chamber’s commitment to elevating private-sector competitiveness and enabling businesses to navigate an increasingly complex global landscape, where sustainability considerations fundamentally influence investment decisions, supply-chain requirements and access to emerging opportunities.
The Sustainability Label initiative translates corporate sustainability commitments into measurable, actionable business practices. Operating through a comprehensive framework encompassing performance assessment, capability development and continuous improvement, the programme strengthens institutional resilience, enhances credibility and prepares businesses for sustained growth and competitive advantage.
Dr. Ali bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, First Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasised the pivotal role of sustainability in contemporary commerce. “Sustainability is becoming an increasingly important factor in business competitiveness, investment decisions and supply-chain requirements across global markets,” he stated. “Companies that can measure, demonstrate and continuously improve their sustainability performance will be better positioned to seize opportunities, manage risks and create sustainable value over the long term.”
He continued: “Through the Sustainability Label, we are helping companies turn their sustainability ambitions into practical action and build the capabilities needed to strengthen resilience and support future growth. The companies recognised today demonstrate tangible progress in embedding sustainability into the way they operate, govern and grow.”
The 35 honoured companies span five recognition tiers. Diamond Category recipients include AECOM Middle East Ltd, Ernst & Young Middle East (Abu Dhabi Branch), Arabian Gulf Steel Industries LLC, and Labotel. Gold recipients comprise Al Shamsi For Honey Trading, Crown Paper Mill LLC, Theraplush (Celestial Cocoon), Ittihad Paper Mill LLC, National Cement Factory, and Emitac Healthcare Solutions.
Silver Category awardees include AKAR Landscaping Services & Agriculture LLC SPC, Union Copper Rod LLC, Emirates Link Nitco LLC, and Agility Engineering and Contracting. The Bronze Category encompasses seventeen enterprises spanning construction, manufacturing, food production, agriculture, healthcare, technology and automotive sectors.
This recognition brings the cumulative total of Sustainability Label recipients to 54 companies across both programme phases. The breadth of recognised enterprises—spanning construction, manufacturing, food and beverage, agriculture, healthcare, professional services, automotive, technology and hospitality—reflects the comprehensive integration of sustainability into strategic business decision-making across Abu Dhabi’s private sector.
