The incident resulted in multiple fatalities and injuries amongst those affected.

Through an official statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs conveyed sincere condolences and deep sympathy to the families of those who lost their lives, as well as to the Republic of Kenya and its people during this period of profound sorrow. The Ministry also extended warm wishes for a swift and full recovery for all those who sustained injuries in the tragedy.
