Abu Dhabi Charts Course for Emiratization in Private Education

The Department of Education and Knowledge in Abu Dhabi has introduced a comprehensive Emiratization policy for the private education sector, developed through close collaboration with government entities and private educational institutions.

The initiative seeks to integrate more than 2,000 UAE Nationals into teaching positions across the private education workforce over the next five years. The policy represents a significant commitment to strengthening the role of Emirati educators within the emirate’s diverse and expanding private schooling landscape.

Through coordinated efforts between governmental bodies and private educational providers, the programme aims to create pathways and opportunities that enable UAE Nationals to pursue fulfilling careers in education. The collaborative approach underscores the shared vision of developing local talent and deepening the emirate’s educational infrastructure.
