Abu Dhabi to Convene Investment Forum in London, Unveiling Global Economic Opportunities

A distinguished delegation of government officials and business leaders will converge in London this October to present Abu Dhabi's most compelling investment prospects, reinforcing the emirate's position as a gateway to transformative economic partnerships across priority sectors from advanced technology to healthcare.
Beginning on 13 October 2026, a comprehensive Abu Dhabi delegation will undertake a series of high-level engagements in London, orchestrated by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abu Dhabi Global Market and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office. The visit represents a significant opportunity to connect international investors and businesses with the emirate’s expanding economic landscape whilst strengthening private-sector partnerships and fostering institutional collaboration.
The delegation brings together an impressive constellation of senior government representatives and business leaders from Abu Dhabi’s most influential institutions. Participants include the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abu Dhabi Investment Office, Abu Dhabi Customs, Abu Dhabi Global Market, Mubadala, the Department of Energy and KEZAD Group. The breadth of this representation underscores the multisectoral nature of the investment opportunities being presented.
Strategic Focus Across Priority Sectors
The delegation’s engagements will illuminate opportunities spanning financial services, advanced technology and manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences, mobility, agrifood, energy, logistics and trade. This comprehensive sectoral approach enables international businesses to identify avenues for meaningful long-term collaboration and investment within Abu Dhabi’s dynamic economy.
His Excellency Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, articulated the emirate’s investment proposition with clarity. “Abu Dhabi offers investors the strength to commit for the long term and the agility to act today,” he remarked. “Supported by strong institutions, a progressive regulatory environment anchored in the rule of law, and world-class infrastructure, we provide the clarity, certainty and confidence that global investors value.”
Al Zaabi emphasised the emirate’s commitment to facilitating business operations, noting that “our focus remains on the speed of doing business, enabling capital to move, enterprises to scale and investment decisions to translate into economic value.” The London engagements, he explained, serve a dual purpose: connecting international investors with Abu Dhabi opportunities whilst enabling Abu Dhabi businesses to access the UK market and establish strategic partnerships.
The Abu Dhabi Investment Forum and Global Executive Connect
The centrepiece of the visit will be the third edition of the Abu Dhabi Investment Forum, convened by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office. This platform connects UK investors and businesses directly with Abu Dhabi decision makers and opportunities across the Falcon Economy. Since its inaugural edition in London in 2023, ADIF has expanded to major investment centres including Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, New York, Mumbai, Milan and Seoul. The previous London edition attracted approximately 400 senior participants, including around 180 UK institutions.
Complementing this initiative, the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry will organise its Global Executive Connect programme on 14 October. This distinguished gathering brings together senior business leaders to explore strategic partnerships and opportunities for trade, investment and business expansion. Through GEC, the chamber facilitates high-level engagements connecting Abu Dhabi’s private-sector companies with senior executives from leading international businesses, thereby unlocking trade and investment opportunities and supporting Abu Dhabi companies in accessing new markets and strengthening their global competitiveness.
The London delegation represents a continuation of Abu Dhabi’s strategic engagement with international investors, businesses and institutions. By presenting a unified vision of the emirate’s economic potential and institutional strength, the visit aims to catalyse new investment opportunities, deepen private-sector collaboration and establish the long-term institutional partnerships that underpin sustainable economic growth.
