DMT Unveils Government Asset Investment Portal to Drive Private Sector Engagement

The Department of Municipalities and Transport has launched an innovative digital gateway enabling investors to identify and pursue opportunities across Abu Dhabi's government-owned assets, reinforcing the emirate's commitment to economic diversification.
The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) has unveiled the Government Assets Investment Opportunities Portal, a transformative initiative designed to strengthen collaboration between Abu Dhabi’s public sector and private investment community. Launched at the Liveability and Investment Exhibition (LIVEX 2026), the platform represents a significant advancement in how investors engage with government-owned land and built assets across the emirate.
Accessible through TAMM, the portal streamlines the entire investment lifecycle, guiding participants through discovery, expressions of interest, bidding processes, investor selection, award and contracting within a transparent, unified framework. This comprehensive approach eliminates traditional barriers whilst maintaining rigorous governance standards.
Intelligent, Personalised Experience
The platform leverages artificial intelligence to deliver a bespoke experience for each investor. The system intelligently curates available opportunities aligned with individual profiles, interests and investment preferences, whilst location-based insights provide detailed environmental context. Investors gain visibility of surrounding amenities including parks, public facilities and transit infrastructure, enabling more informed asset assessment and decision-making.
Standardised Framework and Clarity
Built in close consultation with stakeholders across Abu Dhabi, the initiative establishes clear participation requirements and investor approval mechanisms. Standardised contractual templates, consistent land-pricing models and defined Musataha and lease arrangements bring greater predictability to the investment process, fostering confidence amongst both domestic and international capital providers.
This strategic initiative reinforces Abu Dhabi’s broader vision of economic diversification whilst enhancing the emirate’s liveability and investment credentials. By creating a centralised gateway integrating opportunities across all economic sectors, DMT has positioned the emirate to leverage private sector expertise, capital and delivery capabilities in service of shared development objectives.
LIVEX 2026, which continues until 1 October, convenes government leaders, developers and international specialists to examine six transformative themes shaping Abu Dhabi’s trajectory: liveability, culture, education, economy, energy and health. Prospective investors are encouraged to explore available projects through the Government Assets Investment Opportunities Portal on TAMM.
