Dubai’s Agentic AI Initiative Empowers Private Sector for Future Economic Leadership

Business leaders across Dubai's diverse sectors have welcomed a transformative programme designed to equip 14,000 companies with Agentic AI capabilities, positioning the emirate at the forefront of technological innovation and competitive advantage.
Under the visionary leadership of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, Dubai has launched a comprehensive initiative to transition its private sector towards Agentic AI adoption. This transformative programme represents a pivotal moment in strengthening the operational readiness and competitive positioning of Dubai’s business community.
The specialised training tracks developed by Dubai Chamber of Commerce form the cornerstone of this ambitious undertaking, with the capacity to train and enable 14,000 companies across administrative and operational activities. These comprehensive educational pathways address a fundamental shift in organisational capability: enabling enterprises to transcend conventional data utilisation and instead harness artificial intelligence to facilitate rapid, precise decision-making processes.
Business leaders representing diverse sectors have articulated the profound significance of this initiative. The programme facilitates operational efficiency enhancements, productivity improvements, and elevated customer experiences whilst liberating employees to concentrate upon higher-value, innovative pursuits. By fostering agile and adaptive business models, the initiative supports sustainable growth trajectories aligned with the rapidly evolving global economic landscape.
The training curriculum encompasses foundational Agentic AI concepts alongside specialised practical applications germane to contemporary business environments. Participants benefit from exposure to the latest available technological tools and solutions, comprehensively grounded in established best practices for implementing these technologies to augment administrative and operational processes. The programme emphasises practical models for adoption, transforming theoretical potential into actionable solutions that catalyse innovation and organisational growth.
Industry representatives have emphasised how this initiative enables cross-sectoral learning and knowledge exchange. The construction, medical technology, supply chain and logistics, postal services, and precious metals sectors have each identified distinct opportunities for technological integration within their respective operational frameworks. This collaborative approach strengthens institutional capacity building across the Dubai Chambers ecosystem.
The broader programme extends beyond training provision to encompass the establishment of specialised incubators supporting Agentic AI companies, development of enterprises focused upon Agentic AI solution creation and deployment, and systematic knowledge-sharing initiatives. These complementary efforts collectively reinforce Dubai’s position as a global leader in technological adoption and future-ready business practices, enhancing private-sector competitiveness whilst reinforcing the emirate’s prominence in the international market.
