UAE Pavilion concludes triumphant participation at Marrakech Airshow 2026
Emirati defence and technology companies conclude their participation at the prestigious Marrakech Airshow, securing valuable international partnerships and reinforcing Abu Dhabi's prominence within the global defence sector.
The UAE Pavilion has concluded a remarkable participation at Marrakech Airshow 2026, bringing together an distinguished roster of Emirati companies including EDGE Group, Generation 5 Holding, Multi Level Group, Resource Industries, Nation Shield and Al Jundi Journal to showcase the emirate’s burgeoning defence and technology capabilities to the world.
On the final day of the airshow, Emirati companies engaged in eight substantive meetings with representatives from prominent global defence technology firms and international entities, reflecting the calibre of interest garnered by the UAE’s offering. EDGE Group held two meetings, whilst Generation 5 Holding, Multi Level Group and Resource Industries contributed one, two and three meetings respectively to this productive exchange of ideas and prospective collaborations.
The Pavilion’s conclusion proved particularly noteworthy, receiving 3,100 visitors on its final day, representing the strongest single-day attendance of the entire exhibition. Across the four-day participation, the Pavilion welcomed a cumulative footfall of 6,328 visitors, testament to the exceptional draw of the emirate’s defence and technology sector.
Capital Events, the distinguished event management division of ADNEC Group, leveraged the Marrakech platform to advance the international profile of Abu Dhabi’s forthcoming defence and security portfolio. The team conducted 58 promotional meetings for the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX), the International Defence Conference (IDC) and the Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX), all scheduled for 25th to 29th January 2027 and anticipated to constitute the largest editions in the events’ illustrious history.
The promotional momentum extended further, with 29 additional meetings devoted to the Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX) 2028, and 19 meetings promoting the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR). This comprehensive engagement underscores the expanding international recognition of Abu Dhabi’s comprehensive defence and security event portfolio.
The substantial interest demonstrated throughout Marrakech Airshow 2026 reinforces the preeminent global standing of IDEX, NAVDEX and ISNR, with numerous exhibitors, industry luminaries and defence companies expressing their commitment to participating in the forthcoming 2027 editions. The UAE Pavilion’s roadshow continues its international trajectory, with further participation anticipated at the Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference in Jordan.
