Emirates College for Advanced Education Convenes Fourth Education First Forum

Leading institution brings together 500 educators, policymakers and community leaders to explore integrated approaches to transforming the UAE's education ecosystem
Emirates College for Advanced Education is hosting the fourth iteration of its flagship Education First Forum on 5 October 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, coinciding with the annual celebration of World Teachers’ Day. Themed “From Impact to Ecosystem,” the gathering represents a pivotal moment in the nation’s ongoing commitment to educational excellence and alignment with the UAE Year of Family.
The forum will convene approximately 500 participants, encompassing national leaders, educators, researchers, policymakers, decision-makers, families and community representatives. Their collective engagement will examine how strategic coordination across education, artificial intelligence, human capital development and societal wellbeing can foster sustainable prosperity and advancement.
Dr. May Laith Al Taee, Vice Chancellor of ECAE, articulated the institution’s vision: “The fourth edition reflects a deeply rooted national vision that recognises education as the cornerstone of a prosperous and sustainable future for the UAE.” She emphasised that meaningful transformation emerges not from isolated initiatives, but through integrated ecosystems where education, innovation and community wellbeing work in harmonious alignment.
Building upon the momentum of previous forums, which concentrated on impact, innovation and inclusive practices, this edition advances the conversation by demonstrating how comprehensive educational change requires systemic integration where diverse roles and responsibilities operate cohesively.
The forum’s intellectual framework comprises five interconnected rhythms, each representing a sphere of influence around the child. The Rhythm of Home establishes foundations in the family environment; the Rhythm of Guidance explores educators’ transformative roles; the Rhythm of Belonging connects children to their communities; the Rhythm of Direction reflects policy and national aspirations; and the Rhythm of Harmony unifies all elements into a coherent, aligned ecosystem.
Programming encompasses innovative interactive experiences and evidence-based discussions featuring emerging educators, alongside high-level conversations among experts and national leaders. The forum will also recognise graduates of ECAE’s Continuing Education Center Comprehensive Capacity Building for Educational Leadership programme.
This convening aligns with UAE Centennial 2071 and national priorities emphasising future readiness, inclusivity and empowerment. By mobilising educators, policymakers, students, parents and strategic partners around shared educational objectives, the forum endeavours to advance the nation’s educational competitiveness whilst addressing global trends and domestic imperatives.
