Emirates Development Bank unveils ‘Current of Growth’ exhibition celebrating UAE innovation
A landmark two-day showcase of over 100 domestically manufactured products will illuminate the nation's thriving industrial and technological ecosystem this October.
The Emirates Development Bank will present The Current of Growth, an immersive exhibition celebrating the breadth and ingenuity of the UAE’s manufacturing and innovation sectors. Scheduled for 14th and 15th October 2026 at Abu Dhabi Energy Centre, the event promises an illuminating exploration of more than 100 products conceived, developed and produced within the Emirates.
The exhibition represents a carefully curated showcase of the nation’s industrial capabilities, spanning sectors from advanced technology to sustainable materials. Visitors will encounter electric motorcycles and autonomous firefighting drones alongside medical devices, precision agricultural solutions, cutting-edge solar technologies, and innovative construction materials fashioned from fungi and date-palm waste—demonstrating how local enterprises are harnessing resourcefulness and scientific advancement.
Ahmed Mohamed Al Naqbi, Chief Executive Officer of the Emirates Development Bank, articulated the institution’s vision for the initiative: “The Current of Growth is a reflection of the businesses and entrepreneurs we work with every day. Behind every product on display is a business that has invested in an idea, built local capabilities and taken steps towards growth. Through this exhibition, we want to give visitors a closer look at what is being made in the UAE today and the people behind it, while highlighting how the right financing can help businesses turn ideas into products, scale their operations and create lasting economic value.”
