Fujairah’s Ruler Emphasises Strategic Role in Global Energy Markets at Forum

His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, received delegations participating in the 14th Energy Markets Forum at Al Rumailah Palace on 7th October. The forum, hosted by Fujairah on 6th and 7th October, brought together leading specialists and experts from the oil, energy, industry and maritime transport sectors.
In welcoming the assembled guests, His Highness expressed confidence that the forum’s deliberations would generate valuable outcomes and recommendations to support energy sector decision-makers globally. He underscored the significance of such gatherings in fostering international cooperation and enabling the exchange of expertise amongst the world’s foremost specialists.
His Highness emphasised that events of this calibre serve to strengthen international collaboration whilst positioning nations to anticipate emerging opportunities. He particularly highlighted how such forums reinforce the United Arab Emirates’ strategic presence and influence within global energy markets.
Reflecting the commitment of the UAE’s wise leadership under the presidency of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, His Highness stressed the nation’s dedication to establishing a secure and sustainable economy. He outlined the importance of developing comprehensive strategies to support the energy sector’s transformation and consolidate the UAE’s position as a strategic hub within the international energy system.
