Leading Private Sector Firms Pledge Support for UAE Labour Market Initiatives
Eleven prominent companies have committed to sponsoring Ministry events and programmes in a partnership that strengthens collaboration between government and industry to advance the nation's employment landscape.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has formalised partnerships with eleven private-sector establishments to sponsor labour market events and strategic initiatives, reflecting the government’s commitment to deepening cooperation with industry leaders. The arrangement reinforces the shared vision of sustaining the UAE’s position as a global employment destination and economic hub.
Formalised at a ceremony held at the Ministry’s Dubai headquarters, the sponsorship agreements were signed by Mohammed Saqr Al Nuaimi, Assistant Under-Secretary for Support Services at MoHRE, alongside representatives from the participating companies. The initiative represents a significant expansion of the Ministry’s collaborative framework with the private sector, enabling businesses to contribute meaningfully to national labour market advancement and the promotion of exemplary workplace practices.
Tiered Sponsorship Structure
The sponsorship programme operates across four tiers of commitment. DAMAC Properties assumes the position of sole Diamond Sponsor, whilst Binghatti Group, Emirates General Petroleum Corporation (Emarat), the Insurance Pool, and the Electronic Document Centre (EDC) serve as Platinum Sponsors. Four organisations—Al Ansari Exchange, SkyBlue Media, Majid Al Futtaim Group, and NMDC Energy—have accepted Gold Sponsor status, with AW Rostamani Group and Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) joining as Silver Sponsors.
The sponsored initiatives encompass the Emirates Labour Market Award and a comprehensive calendar of worker-focused events and celebrations aligned with significant national and international occasions, alongside internal Ministry programming. This multifaceted approach ensures sustained engagement across the full spectrum of labour market stakeholders.
