Dubai World Trade Centre Expands Support for Emirati Jobseekers at Ru’ya 2026

DWTC enhances recruitment initiatives with on-site onboarding and personalised career guidance at the annual careers fair

Dubai World Trade Centre is reinforcing its commitment to Emiratisation by significantly expanding support for jobseekers at Ru’ya 2026 Careers UAE, held from 28 to 30 September. The initiative represents a meaningful advancement in the organisation’s approach to identifying and nurturing national talent.

This year’s presence at the event features a notably enhanced recruitment strategy. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to complete onboarding procedures directly at the DWTC stand, streamlining the pathway from application to employment. Complementing this practical approach is an innovative Career Journey experience, designed to guide visitors towards suitable positions based on their individual capabilities and professional aspirations.

The Career Journey experience draws upon the lived experiences of current UAE National employees, who share their professional trajectories within the DWTC ecosystem. This narrative-driven approach offers prospective candidates an authentic understanding of the opportunities available across the organisation’s diverse divisions.

Throughout the three-day event, one-to-one and panel interviews will be conducted, with candidates applying for positions within DWTC’s Sales and Hospitality Programmes able to sign employment contracts on-site.

Dr. Najat Obaidalla, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at DWTC, articulated the organisation’s vision: “Ru’ya gives us a direct platform to meet ambitious young Emiratis, understand what drives them, and show them the breadth of career paths available at DWTC. The DWTC stand will showcase the depth of career possibilities across its operational spectrum, encompassing events and venue services, hospitality, real estate, corporate functions, DXB Live and DWTC Free Zone. Interactive demonstrations will feature Emirati chefs preparing signature dishes including Date Pudding and Halwa Cupcake, whilst a coffee art experience delivered in partnership with World of Coffee will highlight the skills of DWTC’s accomplished baristas.

Ru’ya 2026 convenes thousands of young Emiratis with the nation’s foremost employers, offering workshops, skill-development sessions, and practical challenges designed to foster professional growth.
