Menassah showcases 554 Emirati titles at Indonesia International Book Fair

The UAE's premier distribution company presents works from 89 local publishing houses to foster international partnerships and expand access to Emirati literature across Asian markets.
Menassah Distribution Company is advancing the international presence of Emirati literature by presenting an extensive collection at the Indonesia International Book Fair, which concludes on 4th October. The exhibition features 554 titles and 1,584 books representing the creative output of 89 Emirati publishing houses, marking a significant step in establishing the UAE’s literary landscape within Asian markets.
The curated selection encompasses a broad spectrum of Emirati publications—encompassing literature, philosophical thought, knowledge-based works and cultural studies—designed to introduce Indonesian readers, publishers, distributors and industry professionals to the depth and diversity of Emirati publishing. This presentation reflects the UAE’s commitment to cultural exchange and the advancement of regional creative industries on the international stage.
Beyond exhibition, Menassah is leveraging the fair as a platform for building substantive connections across the publishing ecosystem. The company is actively exploring collaborative opportunities with international stakeholders, including distribution partnerships, publishing rights agreements and broader cultural exchange initiatives. These discussions are intended to establish enduring partnerships that enhance the global reach of Emirati titles and connect UAE-based publishers with readers and industry partners throughout the region and beyond.
Rashid Al Kous, General Manager of Menassah Distribution Company, underscored the significance of this engagement: “The presence of Emirati books in international markets extends the reach of the UAE’s cultural and creative output while creating new connections between publishers, readers, and cultures. Our participation in Indonesia, representing 89 Emirati publishing houses, reflects our commitment to opening broader pathways into global markets and ensuring that local publications can reach audiences well beyond the UAE.”
The initiative exemplifies Menassah’s strategic role in elevating the international visibility of Emirati publications, creating expanded opportunities for local publishers to establish themselves within global markets and build meaningful relationships with international audiences and industry partners.
