Saood Abdulaziz Al Hosani appointed Director General of Abu Dhabi Media Office

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed has issued a resolution appointing Saood Abdulaziz Al Hosani to lead the emirate’s media office, the official WAM agency reports.

H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, issued a resolution on 21 September 2026 appointing Saood Abdulaziz Al Hosani as Director General of the Abu Dhabi Media Office, state news agency WAM reported.

The decision places Mr Al Hosani at the head of the emirate’s principal body for media and communications. The Abu Dhabi Media Office co‑ordinates the emirate’s public information, media strategy and external communications across government entities and strategic partners.

The resolution is part of routine senior appointments by the Executive Council intended to ensure continued alignment of communications priorities with Abu Dhabi’s wider governance and development objectives. No further details about the terms of the appointment were released in the initial notice.

The appointment will be recorded in the official registers of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and implemented in accordance with federal and local protocols governing government officeholders.
