In addition to the top score in quality and safety, SEHA CLINICS attained Platinum recognition in Operational Excellence & Resource Optimisation and Patient-Centred Care & Experience. Gold recognitions were awarded in Leadership, Governance & Continuous Improvement; Workforce Development & Wellbeing; and Sustainability, Hospital Design & Resilience.
Significance for primary care
The Arab Hospitals Federation’s Gold Initiative Certificate evaluates institutions on metrics including clinical quality, safety, governance and patient experience. The accolades underline SEHA CLINICS’ emphasis on strengthening primary healthcare delivery across Abu Dhabi, improving operational efficiency and developing workforce capacity.
Dr. Khadija Al Marashda, Chief Executive Officer of SEHA CLINICS, described the recognitions as evidence of collective effort across the organisation to raise standards of governance, clinical quality and patient safety. She said the awards reflect ongoing work to expand accessible, high-quality primary care for local communities.
The Arab Hospitals Federation promotes excellence across the Arab healthcare sector, placing particular focus on quality, safety and patient-centred care. The Gold Initiative Certificate highlights institutional achievements that advance those aims.
The ceremony in Abu Dhabi brought together representatives from SEHA CLINICS and PureHealth to accept the awards and to emphasise the role of primary care in preventive health and service resilience.
