TRENDS Group is serving as Chair of the Scientific Content Committee at the 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, the prestigious international forum taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre through 1st October 2026.
The organisation’s multifaceted involvement reflects its dedication to elevating knowledge and scientific inquiry within the global dialogue on effective crime prevention systems and the advancement of justice and the rule of law. Beyond its committee leadership, TRENDS is maintaining a prominent presence through an interactive pavilion displaying its specialised publications and research outputs.
A significant element of TRENDS’s participation centres on its Youth Council, which is actively contributing to the Congress’s “Youth Voices for Justice” Forum. This platform provides an essential space for emerging researchers and young professionals to articulate innovative approaches to community security challenges. Researchers Abrar Al Ali, Najla Al Madfa, Hessa Al Nuaimi, and Amina Khalid have been representing the group in substantive discussions on harnessing youth perspectives and potential within the broader framework of criminal justice development.
