UAE and Saudi Arabia Reaffirm Strategic Partnership
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomes Saudi Arabia's Minister of Defence to discuss deepening bilateral cooperation and regional security.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, received His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in a meeting that underscored the enduring strength of the relationship between the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
The distinguished gathering provided an opportunity for the two senior officials to reflect upon the profound fraternal bonds that unite their nations and to articulate their unwavering commitment to expanding cooperation across multiple sectors. Both representatives emphasised the significance of coordinated endeavours that advance their mutual interests whilst delivering tangible benefits to their respective peoples.
Central to their discussion were the evolving regional dynamics and their implications for broader stability. The officials exchanged perspectives on contemporary developments within the region, demonstrating a shared dedication to fortifying security architecture and promoting the conditions necessary for lasting peace and prosperity across the Gulf and beyond.

Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, attended alongside Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security. Additional representatives included Ali Saeed Alneyadi, Chairman of the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, and Dr. Nasser Humaid Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement, alongside other senior officials whose expertise spans the full spectrum of national security and strategic coordination.
The Saudi delegation was represented by Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif, Advisor to the Minister of Defense for Intelligence Affairs, reflecting the substantive level at which bilateral engagement occurs between the two nations.
