UAE President Receives Saudi Defence Minister
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan receives His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation and regional stability.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, received His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in a cordial meeting that underscored the enduring fraternal bonds between the two nations.
During the audience, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman conveyed warm greetings from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. His Highness the President reciprocated these sentiments, extending his own greetings to both leaders of the Kingdom.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the two distinguished statesmen to deliberate upon the multifaceted dimensions of bilateral relations between the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The discussions centred upon the identification of constructive pathways through which existing cooperation might be substantially enriched, with particular emphasis upon initiatives that would advance the shared interests of both nations and deliver tangible prosperity and developmental progress to their respective peoples.
Furthermore, the two sides engaged in a thoughtful exchange of perspectives concerning the contemporary regional landscape. This dialogue was conducted with the overarching objective of fortifying the foundations of security and stability throughout the region, whilst simultaneously advancing the pursuit of enduring and sustainable peace.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, attended the meeting alongside H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; and various senior ministers and government officials, reflecting the significance accorded to this bilateral engagement.
