UAE Delivers 789 Tonnes of Humanitarian Supplies to Gaza Through Operation Chivalrous Knight 3
Five aid convoys comprising 60 trucks have entered the Gaza Strip this week, reinforcing the Emirates' steadfast commitment to alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people and meeting their essential needs.
The United Arab Emirates has continued its resolute humanitarian mission in Gaza with the arrival of five aid convoys this week, transporting 789 tonnes of vital food and shelter supplies to support the Palestinian people. The 60 trucks that crossed into the Gaza Strip represent a further chapter in Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, the UAE’s comprehensive aid initiative dedicated to meeting the fundamental requirements of those in need across the territory.
Since the operation’s launch, the scale of the Emirates’ humanitarian endeavour has expanded considerably. To date, 14,579 trucks have successfully entered Gaza under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, delivering an aggregate of 138,030 tonnes of humanitarian assistance. This sustained commitment underscores the UAE’s unwavering dedication to supporting vulnerable populations and addressing the pressing humanitarian challenges they face.
The orchestration of this complex logistics operation reflects the sophistication of the UAE’s humanitarian infrastructure. The UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Centre, based in the Egyptian city of Al Arish, serves as the operational nexus for Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. From this strategic location, the centre undertakes the comprehensive tasks of receiving, sorting and meticulously preparing aid supplies, ensuring that each delivery meets the highest standards before crossing into Gaza. This integrated operational framework guarantees the consistent and reliable flow of humanitarian assistance to those most in need.
The supplies entering Gaza this week comprise essential resources addressing immediate humanitarian concerns: food provisions to combat hunger and shelter materials to provide refuge and protection from the elements. Through this focused approach, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 contributes meaningfully to the broader humanitarian response and continues to embody the values of compassion and international solidarity that characterise the UAE’s foreign policy and development agenda.
