UAE Unveils Compelling Visual Identity for 55th Eid Al Etihad Celebrations

As the nation embarks on a 55-day countdown to its golden jubilee celebration, a distinctive visual identity has been revealed that honours the stories, memories and shared values of every person who calls the UAE home.

The visual identity for the 55th Eid Al Etihad, marking the nation’s celebration on 2 December, has been unveiled during what the UAE has designated as the Year of Family. The design captures the essence of the nation’s remarkable journey, reflecting how families, generations and communities have woven together the fabric of the United Arab Emirates.

Centred on the concept of family as the cornerstone of identity and belonging, the visual identity draws thoughtfully from traditional Emirati architecture, cultural heritage, familiar landmarks and the nation’s natural landscapes. The creative approach employs photography that blends archival imagery with contemporary moments, creating a comprehensive narrative of national pride and community spirit.

The identity tells the UAE’s story through the everyday experiences of its people, celebrating the memories and moments that have defined the nation across generations. This approach recognises that the Union comprises a family of families, united by shared values, common experiences and a profound sense of collective purpose.

Eisa Alsubousi, Director of Strategic and Creative Affairs for the 55th Eid Al Etihad Team, commented: “The story of the UAE is one of resilience and a shared determination to build a better future. Over the past 55 years, generations have carried forward the values and traditions that give our nation its character, making the UAE a family of families united by a common sense of purpose and belonging. The 55th Eid Al Etihad is an opportunity to honour that journey and look forward to what we can achieve together.”

Throughout the 55-day countdown, families and communities across the UAE are invited to prepare their own celebrations and engage with the national occasion. Additional announcements, stories and opportunities to participate will be revealed progressively as the country approaches 2 December.
