The anticipation builds for UFC 333, scheduled to take place on 24th October at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, with two compelling world championship contests confirmed for the evening.
In the main event, featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski will defend his title against undefeated contender Movsar Evloev, who arrives with an unblemished professional record of 20 victories. At a pre-fight press conference in Los Angeles, Volkanovski acknowledged Evloev’s credentials whilst expressing confidence in his own ability to conclude matters decisively within the five-round distance. The champion emphasised that sustained pressure would prove the differentiator in what promises to be a compelling encounter between two elite competitors.
Evloev, making his debut at title level, described Volkanovski as a sporting legend and reflected upon their prior training sessions together.
