Abu Dhabi University’s College of Business Ascends Global Rankings

Abu Dhabi University's College of Business has reinforced its international standing, securing a place among the world's top 160 MBA programmes whilst achieving rare Triple Crown accreditation status.
Abu Dhabi University’s College of Business has demonstrated sustained excellence in global business education, with its MBA programme ranking among the world’s top 160 institutions according to the QS Global MBA Rankings 2027. The college has further distinguished itself as the sixth-ranked programme across the Middle East and Africa region, cementing its position as a leading centre for postgraduate business studies.
The institution’s international credentials were further enhanced by its placement as 19th in Bloomberg’s Best Business Schools ranking for Europe and the Middle East, reflecting the calibre of its faculty, curriculum and learning environment.
Beyond external rankings, the College of Business has built an impressive track record through its graduate outcomes and alumni achievements. The MBA programme maintains exceptional employment rates, whilst its alumni network has expanded to encompass more than 3,450 graduates employed across public and private sector organisations globally.
Professor Ghassan Aouad, Chancellor of Abu Dhabi University, acknowledged the significance of these achievements. “This continued progress reflects the sustained and deliberate commitment of our faculty and wider community to building a business school that meets international standards while evolving with the needs of the UAE and the wider region,” he said. “Looking ahead, we remain focused on advancing education and research that equip future leaders to create value, drive innovation and contribute to the UAE’s knowledge economy and its broader economic ambitions.”
The college’s ascent has been underpinned by over a decade of strategic investment in academic programmes, faculty development and physical learning infrastructure. Recent assessments highlighted the institution’s unwavering commitment to educational quality, alongside its responsive and contemporary curriculum design, the blend of academic rigour with practical expertise amongst its teaching staff, and the diversity of its student cohort.
A particularly notable milestone was achieved when the college became the first and only locally-owned, non-branch business school in the GCC—and the second in the broader MENA region—to attain Triple Crown accreditation status. This prestigious recognition followed AMBA accreditation of its MBA programme, complementing existing AACSB and EQUIS credentials. Fewer than one per cent of business schools worldwide hold all three accreditations simultaneously.
Professor Jean-Paul Arnaout, Dean of the College of Business, reflected on the institution’s philosophy. “The latest recognition builds on our strong positioning and reflects the collective efforts of our management, faculty and partners over many years,” he noted. “Our focus remains on preparing graduates to navigate an increasingly complex and technology-driven business environment, combining high-quality academic learning with practical experiences that shape responsible, adaptable and globally minded business leaders.”
